The project was to re-design the old website and make it more appealing for its target audience. The website had to look adventurous and luxurious. The new website had to be responsive and had to encourage visitors to register for free the brochure as previously, they didn't have many people signing up for it. Additionally, they wanted contact details to be easily accessible. One of the problems was a lack of content as at the time the company was selling only 3 packages but they wanted the template to be flexible for when their itinerary grows.
I thought that the best way to attract a customer was to display beautiful photography from previous customer holidays. I have used orange from the brand colour as the adventurous accent to main CTAs on the page.
I have placed the link to the brochure and a phone number on the top of the menu bar and advised the client to keep it fixed so that this information is always visible. The previous brochure registration form was quite long which lead to users abandoning the process. With the client, we have agreed to strip it down to a bare minimum, to improve the conversion.
The three packages have been displayed in a modular layout to consider future expansions.
